Summary: Do you live in Wichita and have a little one you need a stroller for? Or maybe you have a baby shower to go to and have been looking for the perfect gift. Jogging strollers are a great addition to any families arsenal of baby items. Being able to take your little one for walks and jogs with ease can be a life saver on those longs days or when both parent and baby need to get out for awhile. Not to mention when mom is looking for a way to get back in shape and still be her baby.
In Wichita there are a few different stores where you can find a great selection of joggling strollers. From single strollers to doubles to make things easier when you have one or two little ones to take with.
There is a wide selection at such stores as MC Sports, Dick's Sporting Goods, Walmart, Toys R Us, Babies R Us, Sports Authority, Sears, and Kmart, these being the locally known stores where you can purchase in the store or online even.
There is also Academy Sports & Outdoors and USA Baby. All of these stores will offer a different selection of strollers to choose from. There are a few things to keep in mind when buying a stroller though. You do not want to go to all the time and money to find out that you do not like the stroller you choose.
- Price. Stay within a budget. There are some great strollers out there, however your baby will need many other items too, so just because it is more expensive it does not necessarily mean it is better. So, stay within what is affordable for you so you are not regretting it later.
- Weight. There are some great strollers out there, except they weight so much it can be practically impossible to get them in and out of your car or off a shelf. So test the weight in the store and make sure you can lift it and move it around.
- Height. You may think all strollers are the same height and yet they are not. Many are taller and shorter than what you expect. Check the height so you are not leaning down to far to push or having to angle your arms strangely.
- Colors. Pick a color you like. You may like the features, but if the color is something you don't like you will be looking at it quite a bit. So have fun and choose a color that matches you and your baby.
- Single versus double. Double strollers are great when you have two little ones close in age. However, getting a double when your oldest may be growing out of it, will not do you any good. Same goes with single strollers. If you plan to have another baby close together, than choosing a double may be worth it in time and money.
- Accessories. Check out the accessories you can purchase to go with your stroller. The stroller needs to fit your needs, so make sure there is a big enough basket on the bottom or can you add a basket to it. Cup holders, pouches, and small containers all become extremely important when taking a walk or jog and you need a place for keys, sunglasses, diapers, or anything else your baby or you might need.
With so many jogging stroller choices to choose from it could become overwhelming. However, keep these few tips in mind and also check the local stores and you will be sure to find the exact stroller for your needs.
