Double Stroller With Removable Car Seats

The situation becomes a little more complicated when looking for a double stroller with car seats. This is only because of the weight and cost that comes into play. Double strollers are heavier anyway and can be bulkier to carry around and move from your car or a shelf.
Also, when a car seat is added you need to consider how comfortable your older child will be. Or if you have twins, how well the two car seats fit together in the stroller.
To start with look for a stroller that can have any car seat added to it. This will make things a lot easier on you because you will be able to use the car seat you already have. Typically, double strollers that can have any car seat added are a little roomier to make sure that different brands and sizes of car seats can fit. Bringing your own car seat into the store to make sure it fits is a good idea.
Also, looking to see if there are attachments to hold the car seat in place if it does not sit all the way down into the stroller. Straps or buckles to keep it secure while you are pushing it are a must.
Next, if you have the car seat there make sure you can turn the stroller and maneuver it with a car seat inside. The stroller will get heavier, so make sure that when you make turns it will not topple over or make it too hard for you to push.
If the double stroller has the seats next to each other, that is where you want to make sure there is enough room for your other child. The car seat fitting in all the way will be much more comfortable then if it has to rest next to the other child. Also, if the double stroller is for twins, then make sure both car seats can fit next to each other with one leaning or being pushed to the side.
However, if the double stroller has two seats one in front of the other, look to see if the car seat can fit in both the back and front, for twins. Or if you have another child will they have a seat leaning on them to fit the car seat in.
There are a lot of double strollers to choose from, however making sure that it fits your car seat and your needs will result you having the perfect double stroller for you and your kids.
