Today's families are on the go!  When baby comes along, it doesn't need to slow anyone down at all, at least not when the family has a travel high chair like the Phil and Ted Me Too chair.  This chair attaches to any table and holds a child up to forty pounds in weight (which is about three years old usually).  The chair itself, however, only weighs two pounds.

What is even more amazing is that this high chair, made of aircraft grade aluminum and nylon fabric, folds up to an unbelievable two inches thick.  It can be carried in a box about the size of a pizza box!  Some people get them to fit into their diaper bag, while others keep one in the pocket on the back of the seat of the car.  

The Phil and Ted portable high chair consists of aluminum tubing that forms the frame, with a simple nylon pouch seat, so there is no extra padding or anything fussy.  The aluminum arms fit over the top of the table, while more hardware includes the vise grip style latches that keep it attached firmly to the table.  The arms are padded on the bottom so that the top of the table cannot be scratched.  The grip has a rubber flange to ensure a tight, secure fit.

The nylon seat is very easy to clean.  You can use a soapy sponge or rag and simply wipe it down.  It dries very fast.  The company offers a very good warranty, and have been quick to replace parts whenever anything appeared to be defective.

Little children usually like this chair, too.  They enjoy being right up at the table with Mom, Dad, and everybody else.  Unlike a regular high chair, there is no foot rest, so a child might get uncomfortable if they are in the chair for too long at a time.

About the only safety restrictions are that you cannot use the Phil and Ted Me Too on a glass dining room table or a pedestal style table because it is unstable.  Some tables have a "lip" which makes it impossible to use the chair.  Lightweight plastic resin type patio tables are also risky because they are so flimsy.  The chair attaches to virtually any other type of table, including picnic tables and those in fast food places.  This makes it great for traveling.

The Me Too has a five point harness safety strap.  Some parents complain that it is not needed.  The older model had a simple waist strap, so if you find one second-hand you might notice this differences.  Other parents are glad to have the five point harness because climbing toddlers simply cannot escape this chair.  These chairs make a good gift for Grandma, and are nice for anyone to keep on hand for those times when someone comes over who has a little one.

People who have tried several brands of portable high chair say that this model is the lightest, roomiest, and easiest to use.  Most people are really glad they bought one, although some state that they never mess with taking it into restaurants because the restaurant chairs are fine.

All in all, Phil and Ted appear to have produced one of the most practical, easy to use travel chairs on the market.  These chairs have been reported to be so durable that they can last through several families and then be passed on to someone else.  Very few complaints amid many reviews indicate that this product is probably a safe bet if you are looking for a portable high chair for your baby.
