The fabric on the seat can be wiped clean, but it cannot be washed in the washing machine.  Most buyers are pretty well satisfied with this high chair, especially since it has such a reasonable price.

One of the most popular discount high chairs of all is the Easy Chair High Chair from Graco.  It is available for less than $60 and is reported to be quite sturdy.  It has a large tray that is easy to put on and take off for cleaning, but the seat does not recline for smaller babies.  The seat is wipe clean vinyl, but thinly padded and doesn't hold up very well.  

The Easy Chair is a big chair, fairly easy to put together, but not easy to store because it does not fold up.  It is light in weight, however, so it is easy to move around.  The base is wide so it does not tip over easily.  This chair has a good reputation in spite of the reasonable price.

Safety First also makes a solid wood high chair that has a very neat old-fashioned look and can be purchased at a discount price of under $80, which is a bargain for an all wood chair.  The tray has a dishwasher-safe insert and releases with one hand from the front.  It comes with a removable seat pad that can be washed in the washing machine.

Cosco is another brand that is known for discount high chairs.  They have one called the Convenience that can be purchased discount for about $40.  It has a molded plastic footrest, an adjustable tray that can be removed with one hand, and a safety belt.  It has a towel bar attached and the seat is covered in vinyl for easy cleaning.

Healthy Care High Chair from Fisher Price costs less than $80 when discounted.  It features a cute cover printed with aquarium fish.  It features a snap-off tray that can be washed in the dishwasher.  The legs have locking casters.  The height adjusts to seven different levels.  The seat reclines for babies that fall asleep at the dinner table.  For safety, it has a five-point harness.

The Healthy Care folds up for easy storage.  It even plays music!  Which only goes to show you that discount high chairs have some neat features that your baby is sure to love.

Fisher Price also makes a "Space Saver" high chair which is designed to fit into a standard adult chair.  It can be found at a discounted price of around $40.  It reclines and has all the other features of a regular high chair except that you attach it to an adult chair by means of a belting system.  It is reported to be very comfortable for baby, but a little bit difficult to keep clean.
