Baby Development At 25 Weeks

At 25 weeks your baby now weighs around 1.5 pounds and will be about 13.5 inches long. At this stage she will be making breeding movements but is not actually breeding air, this is a sign that her lungs are starting to develop.

Her bones are starting to develop and become solid, hands should be fully developed. Your baby will be able to make a fist and clasp objects in her hand, this is an amazing time for baby as she begins to explore her world touching her face and feet and the umbilical cord this is all new and your baby is being adventurous.

Pregnancy is not easy but as your read about you babies development and see the changes month by month through each trimester you’ll begin to read all information you’ll be wanting to get the birth over with so you can be with your baby.

Your babies brain is starting to grow, baby’s nostrils start to open.  Her mouth and lips are showing more sensitivity now your baby can start to hear sounds outside the womb, some people report their baby moving to the sound of music.

Your baby’s spine has also begun to develop, this spine is made up of 150 joints, 33 rings and and 1000 ligaments.  Should baby begins to grow she is starting to fill the space in your uterus.

Now that you’re at 25 weeks you’ll start to look pregnant at your uterus is now roughly the size of a football ball.
