I have recently only come back from Ireland where I was traveling with my young son who is only a few months old. There are many moments before hand when I was really thinking that this was going to be a difficult trip. But, essentially it all came down to planning and ensuring that I had everything schedules and plans before hand. I know lots of advice off people and also read a number of articles online just so I'd have a really good to clear picture of what I needed to do so I did not make any mistakes or worse still get completely stressed out from this trip.

We know for a fact that babies try to communicate even from within the womb. Many parents will tell you of their babies bouncing around when there is loud music. Many moms will tell you that they can sometimes feel their baby kick when they rub their tummy. It is believed that a child's awareness to sounds and to speech is starting to develop around this time. It's interesting to note that research has been done which can measure a fetal heart rate when an unborn child is subjected to external sounds and believe it or not their heart rate can actually decrease when they come here the sound of their mother's voice.

It is recommended that you do not put blankets in your baby's crib until they are at least 12 months old. The main reason for this is because once they reached this age they are able to move more freely so give a blanket does happen to go over their face they can move it away without any problems. Many parents have concerns with a newborn baby about Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and research that has been done by the American Academy of Pediatrics shows that many babies suffocate and are found on their stomach with their faces covered with a pillow or blanket.
