Signs Of Pregnancy and Vertigo
|
|
Summary: If you have been trying to get pregnant or maybe
you are not sure if you already are. There are a few signs to look for
in the beginning. However, every women experiences the early signs
differently and some may experience some more than others.
Always
remember to either take an at home pregnancy test or go to your doctor to make
sure you are truly pregnant.
There are a few obvious signs of being pregnant
that most any women knows about and they are the most common ones that many
women experience.
-
Missing a period. This being the number one way many women realize
they are pregnant. However, for many women irregular cycles and
being late due to stress or other medications may not always be a tell
tale sign. Usually you need to be two weeks late with your period
before taking an at home pregnancy test and receiving accurate
results. If there are other circumstances that affect your period or
you not sure, then speak with your doctor immediately.
-
Swollen and/or tender breasts. Many women experience breast
enlargement immediately. Your breasts may become very sore and
tender, tender to the touch even. They may also already begin to
become enlarged, essentially they are slowly beginning to produce milk for
when you have the baby.
-
Morning sickness. This is common to feel nauseous and sick in the
morning or throughout the day even. Some women do experience
sickness throughout the day. Saltine crackers and water can help
stop some of the nausea. If it continues into the second trimester,
make sure you let your doctor know.
-
Increased appetite can happen. However, this typically does not
occur until later on in a pregnancy. But, some women do experience
it early on, especially if their body is lacking any particular vitamin or
mineral. Once pregnant their body now needs it and there may be
cravings early on as well.
-
Another symptom is vertigo or dizziness. This is not as common as
the other two symptoms, but some women do experience it. Shortness
of breath, the room spinning, and needing to sit down are very common in
the beginning of a pregnancy. If you are worried or the symptoms do
not subside, then check with a doctor.
Again, some women will experience all of these
symptoms and other women will experience none or only some of them. When
feeling any of these, taking an at home pregnancy test first is the best
idea. Then going to the doctor for a more extensive exam is the next
step. Just remember that just because you do not experience some of
these symptoms it does not mean you are not pregnant. Getting an exam
and talking with a doctor is something any women should do.
