Some babies at a very young age appear to have insatiable appetites. 8 to 10 feedings of breast milk or approximately 32 ounces of formula. This should be related to the pediatrician and options discussed. The recommendation is to not feed solids to babies younger than four months. The reasoning is that a baby that young has not mastered tongue movements.

Up until now your baby has been feeding exclusively on either breast milk or formula. Now that doesn’t seem enough for them. It may be that you need to start your child on solids. Cereals that are iron fortified such as rice, oats, wheat, and barley.

Up until now your baby has only needed formula or breast milk and may need to have cereals introduced. Cereals need to be iron fortified. Rice cereals, wheat. oats, and barley cereals are used.  Your pediatrician will be able to provide you with information that is specific to your child’s needs.

Babies quickly need more than just formula or breast milk. There are cereals such as rice, barley,  and oats that are easily made at a consistency that a baby can tolerate. Parents often wonder when and how much cereal they should feed their babies. There are some signs that show that your baby is ready for solids.

One of the problems of buying gifts for friend’s babies is trying to decide what to actually buy them. At such a young age they receive so many different types of gifts and presence that it's difficult to decide what to purchase. A friend of mine just happens to be our Irish and suggested that I purchase some jewelry for another friend’s child as a birthday gift.

We all swallow air or so we think, but the truth is, we breath air.  Swallowing air causes the hiccups.  Most adults are troubled to the point of actually being aggravated when they get the hiccups but fortunately it doesn't seem to bother babies - They swallow a lot of air!  Usually they gobble up this extra air when they're feeding from a bottle.

Just as you ate for two while you were pregnant, now that you're nursing your baby, you still have to be conscience about the food that you eat because you are still nourishing two.  Your baby is now ingesting everything that you eat while he is breastfeeding.

Single parent households are on the rise, divorce is on the rise, leaving single mom and dads to bring up their child by themselves. Families are been split and mothers sometime left to fend for themselves. People get married have a baby and then their world turns upside-down and somebody is left with the kids as the other partner moves out of the home.

Unfortunately babies do not come with an instructions kit or a guarantee, sadly if they were made in Hong Kong parents would get a manual. Parenting classes are becoming ever more popular and they can provide very useful information. However the short answer is that babies need love, care and security to grow up into confident adults, but they do not need perfect parents – perfectionism brings with it its own pressures.
