When Should Baby Be Out Of Crib

There is no such a thing as the general perfect moment for putting your baby in a bed. Each child is ready for the change according to his development and the attachment towards the crib. If you don’t know whether you should use the bed from now on or not it is recommended for you to wait until the child is three years old for you to be sure that he is prepared for the change.
When the child becomes too big and agitated to be sleeping in the crib it is better for you to move him in a bed than holing him in the crib just because he feels much better this way. After you moved him in a bed the step two will come, the one where you train your baby to get out of bed and to use the toilet.
In general, the parents move their baby in a bed when they think he is too active to be staying in the crib as they risk jumping out of it. If your baby gets out of the crib or at least he tries to don’t get panicked as it does not necessarily mean that he has troubles with sleeping.
You should better wait some time before buying the bed as you need to see first how your child feels in a longer period of time. Just the fact that he once tried to get out of the crib does not signify that he should be staying in the bed from now on.
Besides that, a reason for the parents to move their baby in a bed is the fact that they are expecting another baby to come. In this case you should not wait until you give birth and then move your first baby in the bed. The best thing to do is to move him with a few weeks before giving birth so he can get used to it.
