Themed Safari Baby Shower Cake Ideas
Summary: If you are planning a shower for a friend who is doing her baby boy’s nursery in a jungle décor, you might want to consider some themed safari baby shower ideas.  A diaper cake, trimmed with jungle green and brown ribbons.  Top the cake with a small “beanie baby” plush toy monkey or lion and tuck some baby toiletries behind the ribbon.

Make a jungle drink using fruit juices or serve an exotic tea.  You could also use animal cookie cutters to cut sandwiches to carry over the theme to the food table.

Another neat idea would be to make or buy a sheet cake with green icing and decorate it with small plastic toy animals like a giraffe, tiger, lion, elephant, monkey and whatever other animals you can find.

If you like making unique cakes why not make a Land Rover cake and surround it with animals one might see on a safari.

Decorate a rectangular cake to resemble a jungle river tank and put some small toy crocodiles and hippos on this special cake.

If you can see some of the nursery items mom will be using, try creating your cake based on the decorations, art and bedding in the room.  Be sure to take pictures of whatever theme cake you decide to serve.
