When preparing to buy nursery bedding, is it a safe idea to have a theme

 

Nursery bedding is an exciting part of preparing for your little one.  The type of crib you have and the size of the mattress is important to remember when buying nursery bedding and planning a theme.You want to be cognizant of both the safety and comfort of you baby.Nursery bedding, particularly sheets must fit the mattress.  If the sheet slips Your baby could become entangled in it and could be injured.  Elastic on fitted bedding should be checked for elasticity and wear.  You can prevent sheets from slipping by putting Velcro tabs in the corners on the underside of the mattress and on your sheets. 

Does your nursery bedding need to be matched to a theme you have for your nursery?  It is fun to match bedding to either the color of the walls or a theme.   If your theme is farm animals you can either get farm animal prints or colors to match the designs or pictures in the room. 

Cotton and flannel are the two most common fabrics used in making Nursery Bedding.   Think about how you select your own bedding.  Bedding that is soft, is very comforting after a long day.
