Choose children's’ bedding for softness and fit

Choosing children’s bedding can be a true challenge. Your child is old enough to voice an opinion about the bedding he/she sleeps on. Keep in mind the gender of your child, his/her preferences, and/or interests. Children’s bedding must be the proper fit for the mattress you have.

Mixing and matching solids and prints such as plaids or stripes can create a neat, crisp look. Your choices should be made with the color of the walls and/or carpet in the room. Involve the children in making the choices. Sets, while slightly more expensive in some cases, have the convenience of having a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, a pillow case, a comforter or blanket and some include a dust ruffle. If your child has any allergies you might want to look into hypoallergenic fabrics that fit with your theme.
