What baby crib bedding choices do you have for a theme

Baby crib bedding is an important purchase.  There are all kinds of bedding for your baby.  You will likely have a theme and would search for bedding that fits in with the theme.  Purchasing sets of baby crib bedding is helpful if you want to be sure everything fits in your theme.

Fabrics for baby crib bedding include but is not limited to flannel, cotton, and fleece.  Jersey knit and percale are also used in bedding. There are collections of prints that you can choose from.  ABC’s, Jungle, Farm Animal, Wild Life are just a few, as are angels, toys, and Anna by Laura Ashley can all be used to create a theme.

The proper fit of baby crib bedding is important for your baby’s comfort and safety.  Be sure the bedding fits the measurement of the mattress and has a snug fit.  Putting Velcro on the underside of the mattress and the sheets would help prevent the bedding from slipping.  Another safety concern in baby crib bedding is crib bumpers.  While bumpers, which by the way, can match your theme are designed to prevent injury if your baby bangs his head on the bars or foot and headboards, there is an inherent danger of the baby sliding between the bumper and the mattress and not be able to breathe.  If using bumpers, be sure they are fitted as close to the mattress as possible and securely fastened according to manufacturer’s instructions.

Baby crib bedding comes in collections of sets, designs, and solid colors.  Mixing solids and designs is a good way to create a warm and inviting appearance to your baby’s room and enhance the theme.  You might consider looking into hypoallergenic bedding.
