twin stroller

Assess your needs before you shop for a twin stroller

There are two main reasons for purchasing a twin stroller Ð you have an infant and a toddler or you have twin babies. Which of the many twin strollers on the market you buy depends on where you will use it and what features you want.

If you are going to be pushing your twin stroller in malls and stores mostly, you don’t need to spend extra money for an "all terrain" stroller. But, if you will be on rocky roads or gravel paths, an all terrain twin stroller would be preferable. If you will be using the stroller for walking or jogging, consider a jogging stroller. Make sure it is a very easy to open and close if you plan on taking it in and out of the car a lot.

Twin strollers come will all sorts of features. A popular feature is a sun canopy with a clear peek-a-boo window on top. A cup holder for the parent is another important feature. Some parents like to have a snack tray in front of the babies. If you have twins, make sure both seats recline fully so they can use the stroller comfortably from birth.

Figure out what you need from a twin stroller before you buy, and you will be able to make the appropriate choice within your budget.
