graco double strollers

For twins or siblings, Graco double strollers have their ups and downs

Whether you are expecting twins or you have an older child and a baby on the way, you've inevitably looked at a Graco double stroller. Carried in most stores and with a recognizable brand name, Graco strollers are a popular choice. Here are some of the pros and cons of the Graco duo glider.

One feature people like about the Graco double strollers is that there is a lot of cargo space under the seats. Also, this stroller can be used from infant to about 4 years old. The stadium seating allows the child in the rear to see out just as easily as the child sitting in the front. A graco infant car seat can be used in the duoglider, which keeps a sleeping baby asleep from car to stroller. Available in a light weight model, many people enjoy the lighter load when lifting it to store in a trunk.

On the other hand, the double stroller has its downsides as well. The large cargo area is hard to access. Being that it is a large stroller, models other than the lightweight model, are heavy and sometimes difficult to maneuver tight turns. It folds into an awkward shape that may take some wiggling to get into tight trunks. The infant seats fits in the double stroller only if it is a Graco infant seat. Neither of the seats reclines fully and the fastening harness is awkward on small babies.

Weigh the pros and cons of the double stroller. All products have their drawbacks, and you have to decide what areas are priorities and what doesn't really matter.
