Baby Shower Favor For Dad

Baby Shower Favor For Dad – Surprise Surprise

Baby showers are not just for women anymore! Traditionally baby showers have been held for mothers-to-be and had only female invitees. But more and more in recent years, dads and men are being included on baby shower guest lists. Now coworkers, friends and family are even throwing baby showers in honor of dads. Since traditional baby shower favors have long been geared towards women, there is now a growing interest in finding an appropriate baby shower favor for dad.

Some baby shower favor ideas with more masculine appeal are pre printed pens, matchbooks, etc. But homemade baby shower favor ideas abound as well and are almost always less expensive. Some of these homemade favor ideas can be created on any home computer. Magnets are one example. Personalized wrappers for average or bite size candy bars can be created using the basic software that comes with many computers. Another idea is to make chocolates. But instead of the typical bottle, booties, etc. shaped chocolates, more masculine type chocolate molds can be used.

One cute idea for a men only baby shower is to make homemade chocolates using the small jello race car molds. Then wrap them in tulle tied with pink or blue ribbon if the baby’s sex is known. If the baby’s sex is unknown, both pink and blue, or just yellow ribbon can be used.

Even if the shower host/hostess is not particularly good at or interested in crafts, everyone knows at least one “craft crazy” person whose help they can probably enlist. Plus there are so many easy-to-make favor ideas out there, that are virtually foolproof. Just type ‘easy-to-make baby shower favors’ into a search engine to get a plethora of options for even the most craft phobic shower host.
